Last weekend Trevor, Teddy, and I took a much needed mini vacation to a lake in Northern Wisconsin. We didn’t do much other than eat, drink, relax, eat way too much, relax, and watch Teddy jump off the dock into the water at least 5,000 times <– freaking adorable.
The only thing missing? This Peach Lemonade Spritzer, of course!
You guys. This Peach Lemonade Spritzer Recipe is SO easy, SO yummy, and is going to be your new go-to springco*cktail, because this, is spring in a glass.
Full of fresh peaches, tart lemons, vodka, earthy basil, and crisp white wine spritzer, I just know you’re gonna flip for this drink.
PS – Make this on Monday for your Memorial Day BBQ. It makes a TON, so it’s perfect for a party!
Trevor has always loved the idea of being a bartender. I tell him he’s crazy, because I’ve worked as a waitress, and you guys, it’s HARD.
Iget it though, making good co*cktails is fun, but for me, I’d much rather makethem in the comfort of my own home, which is why I LOVE posts like today’s Peach Lemonade Spritzer Recipe.
I have so much fun creating and “taste testing” 😉 co*cktails.
Today’s recipe inspiration came from the Barefoot Refresh Crisp White Spritzer Can which featuresflavors like pear, lemon-lime, and apple and is full of Chenin Blancand Riesling.
First of all, it tastes ridiculously delicious, but helloooo, can we also talk about how adorable these little cans are?! I♡ these.
The spritzer is the final touch that takes this Peach Lemonade Spritzer over the top, but let’s back it up for a second, and talk about the first step.
Step #1: The Peach Simple Syrup
You all know I’m obsessed with fruit infused simple syrup –> Blueberry Peach Mojito anyone?
But no worries, because it’s really simple and only takes three ingredients: sugar, water, and fresh peaches.
Combine the above ingredients into a saucepan, bring to a boil, let it steep, and strain out the fruit! What’s left is ultra peachy and delicious simple syrup.
Step #2 The Lemonade
Combine that ahhhhmazing simple syrup with freshly squeezed lemon juice, water, and peach vodka and give it a stir.
Step #3 Serve it up!
Take your favorite glass and muddle a few basil leaves in the bottom. Sounds weird, right? Basil? In a drink? Trust me. It’s going to change your life.
Then add in ice. Fill the glass halfway with the peach lemonade and then top it off with theBarefoot Refresh Crisp White Spritzer Can.
If you’re feeling reeeeeeal fancy, you could go ahead and add a few extra slices of peach to make it pretty. 🙂
Now all that’s left to do is sit back, relax, and sip the most amazing lemonade.
This Peach Lemonade Spritzer is subtly sweet thanks to the peach simple syrup, ultra, um, peachy from the vodka 😉 , earthy from the basil, and so crazy crisp and refreshing thanks to the spritzer.
It’s definitely one of those drinks that makes you go
“Ahhhhhhh”
Cheers and HAPPY FRIDAY!

I don’t often make co*cktails at home, because I always end up drinking too much if I do! This one sounds amazing, I suppose the kids have to spend the night at grandma’s house soon… 🙂

Something really wonderful happens when basil and fruit come together in a drink. It makes me feel like I’m at a spa or something. And this must be the queen of refreshing drinks. I’ve never had that Barefoot spritzer before, but you’re really tempting me!

Omg they sell Barefoot spritzer in a can?! Uh oh, that’s dangerous for me 😉 My favorite summer co*cktail is probably a mojito or something light and fruity. I’m such a girl! Have an amazing Memorial Day weekend! 🙂
