The state college Tuition Guarantee, which was established in 2020, ensures that Pell-qualified students can attend Wayne State College tuition-free. The program applies to new undergraduate students. The program also only applies to fall and spring semesters and cannot be used for any summer tuition amounts.

Registration hours are 7:00 a.m. to midnight - Eastern Time Zone.

Registration (enrollment) is done online and begins each April for the following summer and fall semesters, and each November for the following spring semester.

After priority registration ends and before classes begin there is an additional $35 late registration fee (initial registration only). The late registration fee increases to $70 after the start of classes (applies to initial registration only).

If you are a first-year student under 20 years of age (and not married or living with your spouse and/or children), you will live on campus in a residence hall for your first year at WSU Pullman. It's a requirement—and also a big advantage. Many students choose to live in residence halls for their entire stay at WSU.

For financial aid purposes, full-time enrollment status for undergraduate students is 12 credits, three quarter time is 9 – 11 credits, and half-time is 6 – 8 credits.

Current students who are admitted to a degree or credential program and are in good standing are welcome to register for summer courses. Registration for current students will begin online via appointment. Students may enroll without an appointment after non-restrictive enrollment begins.

FAFSA aid can typically be used for any college term — including the summer. Just keep in mind that there is an annual maximum you can take out in federal loans, which includes the summer semester. Grants also usually have annual limits.
